Biography: 
Dr. Edward Moses is the Founder and CEO of Longview Fusion Energy Systems, focused on making cost-effective laser fusion energy a reality for the grid within the next decade. Longview is differentiated by its proven fusion physics, designs developed in collaboration with major utilities, and a robust intellectual property portfolio.

With over five decades of experience in engineering, physics, cutting-edge technologies, and management, Dr. Moses has been a key figure in numerous multi-billion dollar first-of-a-kind projects that have reshaped the world of science and energy.

Dr. Moses was the Project Manager and Director of the National Ignition Facility (NIF) at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Under his leadership, NIF is the world's largest and most energetic laser, achieving fusion burn with gain, a groundbreaking advancement in science and the path to commercial fusion energy. He also directed the Laser Inertial Fusion Energy (LIFE) Program, driving the development of a preliminary design for a commercially viable fusion power plant in collaboration with leading electric power utilities.

Dr. Moses has a diverse background in high technology, having served as the President of the Giant Magellan Telescope Organization, overseeing the creation of the next generation of ground-based telescopes. He also led the Peregrine Cancer Treatment System through FDA approval and into the medical marketplace.

Throughout his career, Dr. Moses has fostered collaboration between academia, national and international laboratories, commercial entities, utility companies, and various interests to bridge the gap between scientific innovation and real-world applications. His work spans various fields, from health and materials to strategic and energy security, high energy density science, and astronomy.
