Erik Funkhouser is the Managing Director of the Carbontech Development Initiative at the Center on Global Energy Policy. Since 2013, Erik has worked as an expert in emerging technology innovation and diffusion, focusing on market development, market transformation, and research, development, and demonstration (RD&D). Most recently Erik was Director for Research Coordination and Partnerships at the University of Texas at Austin Energy Institute (UTEI), where he managed the UTEI's RD&D programs and external relations. Erik received a Master's Degree in public affairs from UT-Austin in 2013.
