Biography: 
Jordan Kislear is an Engineer with the Office of Environmental, Systems, and Economic Analysis within the Office of Carbon Management.  Jordan has been with the Office of Fossil Energy and Carbon Management for 16 years.  He holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University, and a Masters in Systems Engineering from the Johns Hopkins University.  

He is primarily responsible for energy and economic modeling of advanced technologies, including carbon capture and storage systems, and specializes in economic dispatch and unit commitment modeling.  He has also worked extensively with the Environmental Protection Agency on many regulations impacting coal fired power plants.  Jordan has previously served as Director for Systems Analysis within the Office of Clean Coal and Carbon Management, and has worked collaboratively with many government agencies including the Office of Management and Budget and the Energy Information Administration.
