Biography: 

As Coffman’s VP of CCUS and Hydrogen, Justin leads a company wide inititative to grow organizational capabilities to expand the firm’s position in the CCUS and Hydrogen space. He is responsible for developing strategic alliance’s for long term relationships that are mutually beneficial to deploy CCUS and Hydrogen in hard to abate market sectors. Justin’s diverse background includes successful CCUS program management, hydrogen studies, strategy for a multi-national corporation, managing international giga projects, and leading business units through process transformation. His skill set includes an understanding of the oil and gas industry and application of various CCUS and hydrogen solutions to cost effectively decarbonize market sectors. His experience extends to facility design, industrial gas processing, hydrogen production, geology, drilling & completions, and pipeline infrastructure.

Utilizing his diverse experiences, Justin provides strategic direction to help companies identify and define clear business objectives. Using unique tool sets, he guides teams and organizations on strategy development and supports them as they navigate trade-offs to select the right business strategy or project to best navigate a complex energy transition landscape. Justin applies his extensive knowledge and experience in financial modeling and economic analysis to facilitate workshops that educate companies on decarbonization technologies. He helps firms understand the levers they can pull to activate their strategies and objectives into concrete projects with high return outcomes.
