Rob Schwartz
Rob has more than 25 years of management experience in the telecom sector and currently serves as the President and Chief Operating Officer of Anterix. In this role, he oversees the strategic direction of the firm’s efforts to enable private broadband connectivity for the critical infrastructure industry, leveraging Anterix’s 900 MHz spectrum. Prior to Anterix, Rob served as the Chief Executive Officer of STI Brasil, LLC, where he focused on developing shared fiber infrastructure for wireless operators in Brazil. Rob also served as Managing Director of Unison Site Management where he helped manage the selling of Unison’s site portfolio to American Tower. Prior to Unison, Rob served as Executive Vice President of IDT Telecom where he led corporate development, product management, and the wireless division. Earlier on in his career, Rob joined The Associated Group to launch Teligent, and served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development, leading functions including strategy, capital markets, investor relations and M&A activities through the company’s launch, initial public offering, and sale to Liberty Media. Prior to Teligent, Rob served as Director of Corporate Development at Nextel where he was responsible for supporting key strategy, M&A, and capital markets initiatives, including the strategic investment in Nextel by Craig McCaw’s Eagle River in 1996. A native of Philadelphia, Rob holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from George Washington University’s School of Government & Business Affairs.
