Ryan Edwards is the Senior Carbon Management Policy Advisor at Oxy Low Carbon Ventures, working to advance carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS). His experience and research spans CCUS science, engineering, economics, and policy. Prior to joining Oxy, Ryan was an AAAS Congressional Science and Engineering Fellow in the U.S. Senate working on energy and climate policy. Ryan completed a PhD in civil and environmental engineering at Princeton University, where his research focused on subsurface fluid flow modeling of geological carbon storage and economic and policy analysis for CO2 capture and transport infrastructure systems.
