Biography: 

Mr. Sasha Mackler has worked for more than two decades at the intersection of energy and climate policy in the United States. His experience in both policy and commercial roles has been focused on accelerating the clean energy transition. Sasha is currently Executive Director of the Energy Program at the Bipartisan Policy Center, a policy research and advocacy institution in Washington, DC. He was previously Vice President of Carbon Capture at the Summit Power Group and led market development in the Americas for Enviva. He has served as an expert witness on energy issues for Congressional hearings in the U.S. Senate and the House of Representatives. Sasha holds a B.S. in Geomechanical Engineering from the University of Rochester and both a M.S. in Earth Resources Engineering and a M.P.A. from Columbia University.
