Sumanth Addagarla is the Vice President of Program Management for BayoTech Inc., based in Albuquerque, NM. Sumanth is responsible for managing BayoTech’s product delivery program and supporting project execution in accordance with the company’s project management Standard Operating Practice (SOP).

Sumanth brings over 30-years experience in project portfolio management, business development and research program coordination in the energy sector.  

Sumanth has held responsibility for managing a portfolio of domestic and international projects ranging from $2M to $200M. His experience includes working with design and fabrication partners to deliver a change-out of refinery equipment in Kuwait, installation of a thermal oxidizer for the environmental abatement of VOC’s in hydrogen, oversight of the construction of a chemical plant in the Gulf Coast and pre-startup inspection of fabricated equipment globally at client sites. Sumanth holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University with specialization in oxidation of fuels. He is currently co-chair for the AIChE’s 2021 Asia-Pacific Hydrogen Safety Conference and is a mentor for the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator’s CleanTech Open.
