WASHINGTON, D.C. – The United States Energy Association (USEA) has published a new report titled “Powering Peace: The United States and Energy Connectivity in the Armenia-Azerbaijan Agreements,” which details how energy projects can act as a foundation for peace and regional integration in the South Caucasus. The report highlights the landmark peace agreement announced on August 8, 2025, between the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan, brokered by U.S. President Donald J. Trump. This accord places connectivity and energy at the center of normalizing relations between the two countries.
USEA will continue the conversation on this historic agreement at their October 7 event, Navigating the Nexus: New Horizons for Peace & Trade in the South Caucasus. This dynamic in-person forum will explore the opportunities and challenges of this historic development, bringing together experts and policymakers to discuss the strategic, economic, and humanitarian implications of this new era.
