Scott Morgan is a Senior Energy Analyst at Energetics Incorporated. He has over thirteen years of experience working with science and technology programs providing data analysis, program management support, research, technical writing, and editing on a range of projects for clients in Federal and State governments and in the private sector. He primarily focuses on project management, data analysis, and cybersecurity for critical infrastructure. Mr. Morgan seeks to succinctly communicate complex technical subjects like the cybersecurity issues unique to the information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT) infrastructure typical in the energy sector. He has helped to develop and manage cybersecurity related programs for the U.S. Department of Energy and the American Public Power Association, working directly with utilities to understand common barriers and identify solutions to improve cybersecurity posture. He and the team at Energetics drafted the Cybersecurity Handbook with guidance from USEA and USAID.
